Fund Raiser for NI Ladies
On the 2nd November at 1pm in the Primacy Bar the NI Ladies b1 and b2 teams are hosting a warm up/fundraiser competition for the Nation's Cup in Coleraine. This will be a 7-A-Side competition and all teams are welcome at £5 per head. Half of the money going to prize funds and the remainder going towards ladies funds for the Nation's Cup. We hope to see a good turn out from the Ards and District League in support of our National Ladies teams.

Mar 14th: First & Last Rangers A; Plate Champions
First & Last Rangers were pushed all the way, on Thursday night, as they clinched the Plate from the Amigos in the 10th frame winning 6-4.
Mar 13th: Primacy Olympic; Major Cup Champions
The Primacy Olympic were crowned as Major Cup champions on Wednesday night with an emphatic 6-1 win over the unlucky Tudor Young Men.

Nov 24th: Magic McCarthy 3 in a row
What a fantastic day of Blackball Pool was had during the Northern Ireland Mens Individual Championships in the Lodge Hotel, Coleraine on Sunday 24th November. 128 players took to the green baize at 10.30am and by 1.00am into Monday morning only one was left standing. That man was the legend of NI Pool Ronan McCarthy. The Kircubbin cueist made his way to the final with wins of 5-0, 5-0, 5-1, 5-2, 5-2 and 6-2, the latter being a superb performance in the Semi Final against Northern Ireland's World No. 9 snooker star Mark Allen. Standing in the way of McCarthys third title in a row was Ballymoneys classy Tommy Morrow who had won a superb Semi Fiinal in a last frame decider against Antrim's Rab Fee. But in a Final that saw 7x eight ball clearances out of the 11 frames played, it was McCarthy who prevailed to lift the crown for the third time in a row and the winners prize of £700. Morrow collected £350 as Runner Up.

Nov 18th: Double Masters Win
Well done to Robert 'the hawk' Hawkings on becoming the EBA Malta Nations Cup 2013 masters Individual champion! It was also great to see 2 Northern Ireland lads in the final.
Also congratulations to the N.Ireland masters team for winning their final and becoming EBA Malta Nations Cup 2013 masters team champions, who featured are very own Hugh Regan!
